Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026 · Last updated July 2, 2026

What's Next Horizon Incorporated (“we”) operates the 12 Stones app and is responsible for personal information handled through it. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and other applicable privacy laws. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and share it, and your choices.

2.Information we collect

Account information you provide (email address and authentication credentials); onboarding and personalization responses used to tailor your experience and seed the Guide; usage and progress data (which stones, modules, and sessions you engage with, completion status); Guide conversations (the messages you send and the responses generated); device and technical/diagnostic data needed to run and secure the App; and subscription status. Payment card details are handled by Apple; we do not collect or store your full payment information.

3.How we use your information

To provide, personalize, and improve the App and the Guide; to maintain your account and subscription; to keep the App secure and prevent misuse; to respond to your requests; and to comply with legal obligations. We process Guide conversations to deliver responses and improve quality and safety.

4.Sensitive information

The App is faith-based, and your use may reveal information about religious beliefs or wellbeing. Where required by law, we rely on your consent (given when you create an account and use these features) to process such information for the purposes described here. You may withdraw consent by closing your account, subject to legal limits.

5.How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the App under confidentiality and data-protection obligations, including our hosting and database provider, the provider of the AI model that powers the Guide, and Apple (for app distribution and subscription billing). We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and property.

6.AI processing and international transfers

Guide messages are sent to a third-party AI provider to generate responses. Your information may be stored or processed outside your province or country, including in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from your own. We take reasonable steps to protect your information through contractual and technical safeguards. By using the Guide, you understand that your messages are processed as described here.

7.Retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it. You can request deletion of your account and associated data as described below.

8.Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9.Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccuracies, withdraw consent, and request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@wnhorizon.ca. We will respond within the timeframes required by law. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10.Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

11.Changes

We may update this policy and will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date; material changes will be communicated in-app.

12.Contact

Privacy questions or requests: privacy@wnhorizon.ca. We can be reached by email for all privacy matters; a mailing address is available on request where required by law.
